" but dont want to get ripped off paying too much for a basic cover? "

ripped off is a very ugly term. i have owned a couple of businesses in which about 25% of the customers claimed they were "ripped "

an annual policy for wife and i is over 4 grand. a two week trip insurance from united to europe has been $50 to 56. insurance is by alliance. i sort of read both policies, but really have not studied either. one is over 50 pages in 6point, the other only about 20 pages. it is a well known fact that buyers are lyers and cheats and no damned good!!!

UA does not ask age, although it should be on file through UA. i'm 75, wife is 68. we wasted money to buy from iad to lys, vce, bcn, cta. bought another one, and cancelled the trip. forgot to where. since the insurance was under $50 did not even chase for it.

we have never made a claim
