the cards always ring up, but when the cashier tries to activate they won't activate. so then the cashier has to do a chargeback or void the transaction. we always try other cards but none will work.
at first i thought it was the expiration date - a lot of the cards on the rack say good through 12/12, however this last time the cards said 12/18 and still didn't work.
maybe these are in the process of being pulled?
A month later and it still is the situation at my local Staples. You can buy but they won't activate. And every time they are surprised. I've had the manager try directly and then tell me they'll look into it but nothing changes. I've bought some this quarter at Lowes with my Freedom card, but that maxes out at $1500. Grrrr.
