An (for me important) example is ATH. This summer there will be 15 (7AF, 2KL, 5AZ, 1RO, 1DL) daily Skyteam flights. For Star it is 12 (6LH, 5LX, 1OS), not counting the numerous international A3 flights. However oneworld is limited to 5BA and 2IB flight only. Which makes it very difficult to use if you do not depart from either LHR or MAD.
This is not a point about BAEC, the FFP, but about BA the airline. We could argue about the relative value of each airline, how convenient each alliance is depending on where you are based and your travel pattern, etc... I suggest that we keep this thread on FB, the FFP, and how new changes affect its attractiveness.
