Completely depends on your needs.
Hyatt: Great views, nice hotel, don't have to cross the river (except to get to Pudong), but not much (anything) within walking distance.
Andaz: Great tourist location in Xintandi, many restaurants within walking distance, easy taxi ride to many locations (as long as you're not going to Pudong).
Grand Hyatt: Great hotel with great rooms, awesome building, convenient to Pudong and not much else.
Park Hyatt: Grand Hyatt on steroids (next door to Grand Hyatt, so the location isn't any different), but at least double the rate.
Would hardly describe the PH SHANGHAI as GH shanghai on steroids !
More apt to describe it as a stunning,very private ,boutiqueky hotel with high quality furnishings in muted tones . Nothing comes close , this side of the huang pu ...!
The service at the PH is now almost perfect .
