I have United Gold status this is my first year for anything like that. I very quickly fell in love with status after I got bumped the 2nd or 3rd time to first class.

Anyway, if I book a UA flight operated by a partner, say Lufthansa, does the status come with on that flight? Can I still skip the lines, bags fly free, chance of being upgraded, free premium seats, etc?

Thanks for the help in advance. Just found these boards 3 months ago and already racked up a pretty hefty point balance on a few airlines. Appreciate it so much!
