You make a good point here. For clarity in some of my earlier remarks, At today's prices, I'd be willing to give up free soft drinks and peanuts and early boarding and - yep - free UG's for 2-3" (not 3-4") of legroom throughout coach for any length of flight. That's a mix no airline has tried yet. Legroom (and the ability to bend over normally to retrieve a bag under the seat in front of you) is not a frill, in my book. It's humane. Don't know if that would be cost savings enough to justify the loss of seats, so will succumb to the possibility this may not make financial sense.

My only other requirement - assigned seats. So, if anyone was 'bout to say 'that sounds like WN', um, no.
