As per IATA rules the ticket needs to have the total paid. As such all reissued eTickets do contain the following fields, just like the paper ones did (data changed):
TOTAL USD1234.56
ORIGINAL ISSUE: 001123456789 28JAN13LAX
ORIGINAL FOP: VIXXXXXXXXXXXX1234
EXCHANGE TKT: 0011234567890-91 123/123
ADD COLLECT AMOUNT: 123.12
The total is the total cost of the new ticket, and the add collect is exactly what it says. The add collect will include change fees, which are not reflected in the total cost of the new ticket.
OP should not have any difficulty in obtaining a copy of his/her ticket -- actually, I argue that this should be sent out automatically as only the ticket is evidence of his/her transportation contract (a receipt is not -- it's just evidence of payment).

He/she may be using an unused ticket that was intended for travel unrelated to the current business travel, or for a different client. For privacy reasons it's best that he/she does not do that.
