Do these regional nuances drive the TSA credibility down? Anybody else encounter this in the last week since Boston?
My understanding is that TSA don't have different rules by region or airport, but they do have an array of guidelines. The key is that they don't want the process to be 'routine.' I go through several different small airports in a month and they do different things. The most common is changing their stance on whether a computer tablet needs to be taken out of your briefcase or not.
