I fear you will have some problems with this size if you're travelling a lot. I'm currently using the Samsonite 30" F'Lite, and:

1. It doesn't fit in the boot (trunk for speakers of American English) of some convertables. Hertz in the USA like to upgrade me to Mustangs, which are fun to drive but not fun to fit a large suitcase into.

2. Likewise, it's sometimes a little tight fitting it into the boots (trunks) of some taxis. The problem is not the space, it's the size of the hole it needs to fit through to get it in.

3. Some hotel luggage racks are just a little too small to hold it properly.

4. It JUST doesn't fit under the standard second class seat on Indian trains, by a couple of millimeters.

I fear a 32" suitcase will be worse in these scenarios.

I've never had any problems with airlines though, even ones flying Cessna 207s and other light aircraft.
