Nice report. I am looking forward to the rest.

I did FAI during the summer solstice last year so it will be interesting to see the winter season in Fairbanks. I agree with you as FAI airport made a lasting impression on me when I went through there. The TSA crew there were also some of the friendliest I have ever encountered.
