Looks to me like my Danish mother, a landed immigrant in Canada continually since the late 1950s, is going to have to become a Canadian citizen if she's going to be able to visit me in the US regularly. Anyone know how long it typically takes to process a Canadian citizenship application? I've had mine (the citizenship, not the application) since birth so never thought to check!

It takes about 1 year from application(application-test-ceremony) to get citizenship.

Your Mom has a Danish passport. Aren't Danes on the visa waiver program?
