I am doing a tourist weekend in SF May 17-20 and it seems I couldn't have picked a worse weekend. Hotel rates are through the roof and many are completely sold out. I have a points reservation at the JW Marriott Union Square for May 18 but looking for a LNF for one night checking in May 19.
