Domestic flights in Brazil are super cheap, you may want to consider buying tickets instead of using miles. I booked three one way flights last year and the most expensive flight was $79. Check different airlines prices and schedules. Just be aware that some websites won't accept foreign credit cards.

domestic flights in brasil are not "super cheap". They are only supercheap for some short segments when you buy in advance. The same segments become super expensive for last minute travel. I have paid $400 for a 45 minute flight from sao paulo to florianopolis.

Also depends on season..during holidays flights become super expensive..try getting flights to rio or salvador during carnaval or new years

And longer segments are always expensive. Try going from manaus to florianopolis or foz to manaus
