Hello, hoping for some help guidance.

I'm about to book our flights for our honeymoon which are currently on sale. I noticed that there will be a 5hr + layover in Sydney & Dallas.

I'm on the lowest level of Qantas membership so I don't think that will get us in. I have seen 'guest passes' available for sale on ebay / gumtree. Is this recommended?

After some browsing on this forum, I found that AA offer 30 day passes for $99 (equates to only $25 each entry!) - that includes 2 guests - is this pass available to Australian residents? If not, I can't seem to find something similar offered by Qantas...

I've also read of the QP Meets... but i'm only able to find the thread for April 2013. Is this only created each month? How do these work? I'm love to see whether we could be someones guest. Or, if I do purchase the AA 30 day pass I'd be happy to offer the extra pass to someone else..
