That is two different things. Take-off is not from wheels-up to 10,000 feet.
Once the wheels are up, take-off for the passengers is over. Put your seat back.
10,000 feet is when the critical phase of flight is over, approved electronics can be used, and non-essential conversations in the cock-pit can recommence. It has nothing to do with timing of putting your seat back.
I asked in a different forum (UA though) about when I could put my seat back (as I was pissed off at a pax behind me) and was told officially that it was at 10,000 feet (the same time when you can use electronics).
Still for red eyes and/or when i'm flying in F, i'll usually put it down much sooner than that.
