And my MVP stay this past weekend excluded the AMEX bonus. My other stays using the regular HH website post the bonus. This all started in 2013. I thought about smmrfld's explanation but all my stays have been upgraded to a whirlpool suite by the hotel. All my stays with the exception of 1 have been at the same property, and I always get upgraded.

So I guess I'm at a loss why the HH rates post and the MVP rates don't and the person at the DD that just processed my last 6 stays couldn't explain it either but I did get my 6000 points. Just one of those minor inconveniences I guess.
