Hi,

I can get quite a quick train to Slough en route to Heathrow (coming from the West). Does anyone know what the taxis on the rank charge to the airport (t5)? The council website says if it's outside the slough boundary (which appears to be a small area) it's by negotiation.

I can book a minicab for £17 but would be easier just to jump in a taxi on the rank. However if "that's gonna be £40 guv' " then I won't bother.
