Mixing Award and paid flights on same PACER
Does anyone have successful experience doing this?
Want to buy and redeem concurrently, so a paid segment and an award so the flights are linked/protected in case of irrops.

For example

ATL to JFK on paid
JFK to MXP on first half of award
MXP to JFK on return of award
JFK to ATL on Paid ticket

If I get the award its 200,000 points
If I do what I want it is $300 plus 100,000 points
