EY System Glitch cancels AA codeshare flight

Received an email earlier today stating that a segment of my flight (codeshare with AA) from MIA to JFK had been cancelled. Called EY and an agent informed me that there was a problem with their system and that I should call AA after three days and they would fix this for me. Of course I wasn't waiting three days. Called AA who informed me that they could make no changes to the flight as the ticket specifically said that they could make no changes to it. Called EY again and this time another agent informed me that they had a glitch in their system and a whole bunch of EY codeshare flights on AA had got cancelled. She said they hoped to have this rectified in a day and requested a call back in 24 hours to ensure that the flight was restored.
Meanwhile (see my other thread arbitrary flight changes...) I had already had my final return segment on an EY codeshare with AA (from ORD to MIA) changed to a later flight. AA however, informs me that their system clearly indicates I am on the earlier flight.
So the EY saga with the Sabre switch continues. And my flirtation with EY if this ever changing reservation holds will end after this. Back to EK or QR for me price notwithstanding.
