Saw the last reply was a 1.5 years old, wanted to just give my thoughts.

-As mentioned, staff very friendly, and mentioned my platinum status. That was very nice.

-There is a shuttle, but it does not go to the airport. The only real use I see of the shuttle is to take you to the metra station, but thats the only negative I have - The shuttle stops around 10pm, and the last metra train comes back around 140 am (at least on Saturdays). I was told in a CS email that they had a discount with a taxi company, I was not aware of that at the time.

-The room was also the first HP I've stayed at that had one of the walk in showers.

Overall, standard HP with extra friendly staff. I drove to O'hare the next morning so I didn't get breakfast. The drive was about 20 minutes I'd say. It looks a lot closer via google maps.

And again, it is definitely the lowest priced in the Chicagoland area. I got my room for the daily rate of 74. I think the hyatt.com rate was 69. One more thing. I stumbled across a place about a mile east called Thronwood (bar and grill). They had all you can eat fish for $9.99 on Fridays. It was amazing!

Would definitely stay here again if I needed to be around O'hare.
