When I want to go right to sleep, I put it into bed-mode at wheels up. I can do this with the seatbelt on.

If in GF, and wanting turn-down service, obviously one will need to wait...

One would think that the internal motors & electronics (e.g., the IFE system) are already approved for use at anytime on the a/c.
