As for trying everything, yes, I have. New browser, computer, ISP, clear all cookies, etc. The only thing that works is to log out and buy the ticket without giving away who I am (if I enter my MP number at any point, game over).

The "specialized IT team" has probably gone home and you will need to do your own troubleshooting.
