Not the case. I am generally based in the UK and, when logged in, the site gives me UK pricing. However my MP number is registered in the US and UA has my US address for mailing purposes. Somewhere near the submit button at the bottom of a Fare Search window, you can choose in which currency you want the price to display. I always check both, because I have a US and a UK card so can buy either. Several years ago the USD prices tended to be lower, but the itinerary I'm pricing at the moment is over $100 more in USD than GBP.
