There isn't really anything within walking distance.
The Rennaisance calls itself the Cruide Port, yet does not offer a shuttle, at least didn't. You may want to check. No shuttle from the airport but the taxi ride is less than $20.
Cheap taxi ride and decent room rates, depending on when you are staying.

There is also a Fairfeild Inn and a Spring Hill Suites in Dania. They have shuttles to the airport. No place really to go from there though.
Check with them about shuttles to the port.
