Personally I would use the Keisei Skyliner and buy the two day metro pass at the Keisei ticket office for 2980 yen; this would save you about 800 yen on the normal pass. You can buy a ticket on the Keisei main line for about 1000yen but you don't get a saving on the pass cost and it is a more awkward, less comfortable service. To Kyoto from Shinagawa with an unreserved seat on the Shinkansen Nozomi is just under 8000 yen. Kyoto to KiX someone else will help you with or just use hypermedia.com
