My better half was looking to book a flight on United yesterday.
On the United website, not logged in, I priced the flight that interests us at 790 GBP.
She logged into the United website with her frequent flyer number and got a price of 907 USD.
Has anyone noticed something like that before? We were in a rush and didn't do any further testing of scenarios (her logging out and pricing it, me logging in, etc.).
I find it very surprising that logging in would cause such an important difference in price. Or maybe the profile and frequent flyer status (none, but some miles) has caused the difference?
