I'm not sure where the 1 Mar 2013 date originally came from, however:
"The new caterer for British Airways’ lounges across the UK makes its debut at the Gatwick lounge this Thursday, April 25.
BaxterStorey won a five-year contract to provide dining at 14 First and Galleries lounges, as well as the Concorde Room at Terminal 5, earlier this year.
All 500 colleagues currently employed across the lounges are receiving training that BaxterStorey has designed with BA, built upon the airline’s brand values and service standards.
Colleagues will have new uniforms, while the food offering is being simplified in response to customer feedback. The focus will be on fresh, seasonal ingredients and the offering will be changed frequently.
BaxterStorey will take over at BA’s regional lounges on April 28, the lounges at Heathrow T5 and T3 on May 2 and at T1 on May 16."
I do not speak on behalf of British Airways/BA CityFlyer. My posts on this site don’t necessarily represent either companies' positions, strategies or opinions.
