It seems like the limit for C bags dimension and weight wise is identical to Y, you just get an extra Is that not how it's done in practice? I'll just have a jacket and the suitcase. This is the suitcase: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/trave...ew-design.html
There's no way I'm keeping to 8kg. The bag alone is 5ish.

Price difference is ~125 Euro. Is there any difference in pitch between row 1/2/3 and the econ rows like LX has or is everything the bone-crunching 30"?

Also, does having a full Y ticket bestow anything extra on the passenger?
125 EUR * 4 legs is 600 EUR. Save the money and use it to buy something nice or have a stellar lunch or dinner at an outstanding restaurant (with that much money even a Michellin 3* is fine as long as you don't get too into the wine list).
