You are referring to the 'E' fare. Largely seen as a response to the ULCC's like Spirit. It is currently bookable on the non-stop flights between DTW and TPA, RSW, and FLL (but oddly, not currently MCO). 3 week advance purchase and Saturday night stay required, and importantly, "Non Refundable, no changes, seats assigned at check in". However, they are still eligible for Medallion upgrades and you still get 100% miles/MQM's on them.
