In star alliance, points are based on the booking class on the operating carrier. If you book through LH, and it shows an LH flight number on the itinerary, the fare code you see is going to be the LH one. Which means didley squat in terms of mileage earning.

Don't know much about what fares map to what, but assuming an LH W fare = AC W fare is dangerous. The only way to really find out is to book it, call AC and ask them what the AC fare class is.
