With regards to your comment on the Hilton in Rotterdam: It is currently under renovation, the rooms are done and look amazing, but they are still upgrading the other facilities.

As born and raised Rotterdammer I could also recommend the Bilderberg Parkhotel and Hotel New York, although the latter is located further away from the central part of town.

As I am interested in the financial industry as well (recently graduated from the Erasmus University in Rotterdam in the field of transport economics+finance), I am curious: are you specialized in a certain field of financial services, like shipping or transportation (which are two of the main specializations in Rotterdam)?
