The Bose store at Premium Outlets (North) in Las Vegas just laughed at me when I took in a battered set of QC3's in an attempt to get an exchange deal sorted out.
I bought some Sennheiser IE80's + custom ear moulds + IE8 cable (Iphone controls) and they're much better anyway. They are obviously in ear as opposed to over ear but the passive noise cancelling due to the moulds is far superior to the Bose active NC anyway IMO.
