IMHO collecting Avios and TP should be secondary (yes heresy I know) to getting a good price deal so why not look at Air New Zealand (LHR-LAX-AKL for example) or VS (LHR-HKG-SYD) then V Australia to AKL (and several other destinations) or what about Emirates?
