It's an interesting enhancement - I've rarely needed it this year, as usually the Ottawa Altitude line isn't full, and still works to bypass the busy standard line.

There's also the split desks at YOW too - one for Altitude/Gold, one for SE100Ks. I've had experiences where if the Altitude/Gold desk clears up, they won't take people from the SE100K line first. So the SE100K line isn't a priority line over the standard Altitude, but rather a way to separate the desks, it seems.

The only place I've needed the SE line was in YYZ, during the winter storm shutdown back in February - the Altitude/Gold line had over three dozen people in it, and the SE had only two people. Very grateful for it!
