Just booked my first USA-China award ticket with a stopover in London. Thank you Flyertalk! I plan to visit the Cotswolds area and leave for China the next day. I can fly out of either London or Birmingham. Is there a better choice between the two? I will rely on public transit (bus or train) to get from Cotswolds to the airport and am not totally sure yet which route is easier. Flying out of Birmingham will save me $30 USD in taxes; is there anything else that makes it better than LHR?
