When I previously questioned on this forum the apparent inefficiency of BA's management of the seat preferences expressed in BAEC profiles; it was explained to me that the profiles were only used for full-fare cash tickets. I have since assumed this to be true: scarcely ever buying fully-refundable tickets and finding that Mrs tooblue and I are sometimes even put in different rows. That might suit some couples (but I'm told by Mrs tooblue that it doesn't suit me )
