They did so while introducing *more* premium class seats.

So, the subsidy is still in effect.

Even though these planes are intended on bottom-feeder specific routes, which is the other reason they jammed so many in there.

There is no way on earth that any of my customers who places a $50k order is going to have his product malfunction on him and not get some treatment for him.

He still has the extra space, but he's lost the primary feature of the pod, I think he's fair to get 50% of what he paid back.

The dollar amounts in the end do not matter. If you bought a McDonald's burger and found it to be rotten you're entitled to your money back. If your Bentley won't start when you go to drive it out of the lot, you're entitled to your money back.

I have sympthy for anyone who pays and gets BONED by a corporation, no matter how small or big the amount is. The boning is being done by a beancounter somewhere who views you entirely as a number and has no moral obligation to see that fairness and justice have been served in these incidents.

So yeah, he's got my sympathy.

If any of YOU bought a longest haul ticket and paid AC full fare for it or even Z and that seat was stuck in landing position you'd be hollering to high hell.

I mean even if half the people here burned upgrades or Aeroplan points and got a busted seat, they'd ......

It's one thing for a 4-6 hour flight, annoying, but super long haul where you need to sleep and paid for it, that's into half refund for sure.
