Morroco Trip (during Ramadan)
I am thinking about going to Morroco this July as an extension to my Spain trip, and realized that I will be there during Ramadan. Is this an issue? I don't care much about the food situation as I don't mind bringing food with me as I go, I am just wondering if the experience will not be as good as if I went another time. I want the souks to have the snake charmers etc. that I read about, and would not want to miss out.
I am planning on getting to Marrakech on a Monday afternoon, spending the night and Tuesday there (with a few hour side trip on Tues to the Atlas mountains). Wednesday I want to go pass thru Casablanca and sleep in Fez. Thursday all day in Fez and Friday take the ferry to Gibraltar or Spain. Can't get away longer so any suggestion on the itinerary would be appreciated, as well as comments about Ramadan.
TIA!!!
