Even with 24 hours notice, I don't think it is actually that difficult to go online and buy a ticket tbh, so in the respect of wanting to travel 1st class , then yes, it is the passengers' fault not to rebook if it was a big issue to them
There were options if the passengers were wont to change
Ticket change and different class charges would surely ensue? Esp at such short notice.
