No confirmation/denial regarding the extra padding on the UA ships... the website image is just a basic model for marketing purposes, the upgraded seat cushions are optional items not shown in those images.

I wonder if UA will change the seats in the F cabins as well. Would be strange to see all-new Y seats installed with the same F seats, which, while comfortable, are showing some signs of wear on the older ships.

The Comfort Line seats are designed for long-haul installations and do not bring the same weight or pitch savings that the BL3520 does. I don't believe UA would gain an extra row of Y seating with that model, whereas it will with the BL series.

Worth noting that AA has selected the BL3520 for its upcoming A319/321 Y cabins as well. Of course, they'll have AVOD and power. UA doesn't seem to think that these improvements are worthy investments for its A319/320 fleet.
