DL937 SAT-ATL was delayed an hour and half due to an FAA inspector holding up the flight because some of the overhead bins didn't have the max weight capacity sign. SAT didn't have spare signs and they were trying to make some but the FAA inspector was requiring that they be made on fire retardant plastic. Finally they decided to empty the bins and tape them shut. This had to be the most ridiculous mx delay. Has anyone had this happen to them before or did we just have a crazy FAA inspector on a power trip?
