The first half of the cabin is almost full, but the second half is wide open. I'm currently in 8D so that I can use the restroom without having someone climbing over me - but I'm wondering about galley noise, aisle traffic, and being in the middle of the plane. Will I feel exposed???

Thanks so much for any thoughts you can share for me. I don't know when I'll get this experience again, so I'd like to do it right!
8E is my favorite seat on the sCO 777-200. 8D is good also. Any seat in row 8 has a much larger footwell than non-bulkhead seats, as do the row 1 and 2 (depending on which seating position) bulkhead seats in the cabin forward of door 2L, which is normally used for boarding of economy (and sometimes all) passengers. 8K and 8L are are actually a bit back from the lav (which is the largest lav on board) located just forward of door 2R. There will be traffic from the galley during meal services so if you aren't going to eat and plan to sleep instead then I would suggest picking a window seat. Also note that the seats all hane one arm-rest that can be lowered to be even with the seat. This is especially handy for sleeping and for slipping into the aisle with a full tray table. The button to release the arm-rest for adjustment is at the very end of the arm-rest where you hand will be. Press the button with your fingers and push down using your arm. Enjoy!
