deplane
immigration

turn right out of the terminal
walk for ~5 min (no wasting time for an unnecessary shuttle)
drop bags via kiosks inside at AA
clear security

Granted, there's not much leeway there, but it's entirely feasible.
Of those items on the checklist, the heavy-duty ones are 'immigration / passport' & the AA security line.
J / F on both QF and AA would help there:
1) Off the plane quicker i.e. earlier to immigration
2) Priority Access with AA
For a newbie on Y, you are asking for the stars to align.
Possible, but highly risky.
My last time to LAX with QF (J) and AA (Y) was done under 50 min between disembarkation and passing through AA security (non-priority).
If it were my wife, I would not advise it - 100%
Your choice, of course!
