I am going to be doing 2-3 months of weekly rentals using $30-$40 coupons each week.

However, pay now makes it even better, coupon stacked it comes to like $105 a week with tax for a subcompact, $139 on pay later.

I know I won't earn credits towards weekend rewards nor avis savers if I do the "pay now," but saving $34 a week is pretty substantial.

Any other advice?

I did wonder, since your receipt doesn't even show AVIS FIRST status, are the clerks not allowed to upgrade you from the class rented even if they know you?
