There are two main batteries. This redesign / workaround (I will not say fix, as you cannot fix something if you do not know the problem) applies only to the front smaller battery and does not address all the electronics bay burn out / swap out issues reported either.
Hope its all OK, but will avoid any ETOPS Flights on it for a while
