I don't want to hi-jack the thread but would like to ask a question. Why is the majic number for a MR deal 5 cents per mile. In the link shown above it stated a 2-3 cents range. I am not a milage runner as of now but will probably be wanting to insure that I maintain my top tier status when I retire soon. I know this link is dated 2007 but I can find dozens of sub 5 cent runs everyday with normal fares. Thanks.
