I only mentioned the negatives, but I should point out I'm definitely impressed with the hotel overall. Bamboo forest in the lobby is awesome. Rooms are nice. Restaurant is good (although pricey).

And regarding the pull-up bar--it's part of a larger weight machine that just happens to have pull-up grips on the top, just thought it was kinda funny.

I hadn't thought about the height of the bamboo. Currently, it's perfect with the tops just licking the 7th floor (of 8). I'd imagine they'll have to start trimming it if they haven't already.
