You'd think that BA would send all of us who fall into this date category an email to bring it to our attention. If I hadn't seen this just now on FT (thanks OP) I'd have missed it until I checked our booking made on April 11, and the paid seat change same day. This being an Avios booking, hope it doesn't mess things up for us when we get to Heathrow to check in, hopefully still able to do so on a kiosk and not lose our chosen seats.
Flights are months away, so still time to see if they correct and let us finally check in online.
Wondering if this had anything at all to do with AA's computer problem of yesterday, causing BA to lose then find our bookings. I booked directly with BA, so it shouldn't have, but...........?
I printed our booking page with the yellow warning at the top in case there's any hassle at the airport.
