My rental car company (National) told me my car has SunPass. But when I went through the first toll, the green light did not come on. At the second booth, I went through the cash lanes, and the attendant told me my car did not register as having a transponder. She said that most rental car drivers just run the tolls, and the state sends a bill to the car company, who then passes it along to the driver at a later date.

So I decided to go through the cash lanes.

Except I went through 2 tolls today that had no cash option.

What do people do around here if they don't have SunPass? And should I believe my rental car company or not?
