Normally a status match requires demonstrating actual flight activity history, not just accumulation of credit card points. The airlines are savvy enough to know that a CP does not automatically imply that you flew a lot.
Agree. A+ tells another airline that you've spent significant BIS time. CP without A+ tells them that you've discovered how to game the system...thus, no match.
